Fieldwerk is an experiment, that traces the difference between information and disfunction to that point, where disfunction itself becomes again information.

Sound and image are broken down to the very essential elements that characterise the setting in
order to provoke reconfiguration.

Abstraction through compositing combined with analogue and digital noise generated through the use of analogue feedback loops and different ways of compression, sequenced with the original footage,
create layers of distortion...

The original 5 min video has been exhibited on various occasions throughout Europe with the highlight being a show at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France in 2003.
